Currently, the company is hiring Virtual Patient Intake Coordinator/Schedulers to work from home nationwide (except for California and Mississippi).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Adept at handling large call volumes, preferably with use of VOIP call systems

  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and phone etiquette, able to communicate effectively on the telephone.

These are full-time slots where you’ll be helping assemble the information needed to process claims, and expediting them.

Per employee reviews on Glassdoor, pay averages $14/hr. and ranges from $12 to $15. However, the company hasn’t confirmed these rates and the job listing doesn’t mention pay.

  • Must be computer/technology savvy- our future focus will become even more reliant on technology.  The associate is required to have the ability to set up their computer equipment and troubleshoot issues independently and with ease.

The training for this position is 7 weeks in length.  Training will be done virtually from your home office.  100% attendance in training is mandatory.  If you were to miss any time during training, we do not have the resources to catch you up.  Once the 7 weeks of training is completed, our new associates would then move into their set schedule.  The set work schedule will be confirmed at time of hire and you must be able to work full-time.


PAY SCHEDULE:

Begin your new career at Hyatt.  Starting pay is $14.00 per hour.

If you’re looking for a side gig, DoorDash — like Amazon Flex, Postmates and Deliv — pays people to make local deliveries in their own car. With DoorDash, the goods are usually food orders (as with Uber Eats, included in a banner below).

How It Works

DoorDash is an on-demand delivery service that lets people order food from restaurants across the US and Canada. Everything’s done by app. Part-time Drivers log onto the app when they’re ready to work, accept the orders they want and deliver the eats.

Pay varies by city, and you keep all tips. You can find more on city rates here. Payment is weekly by direct deposit to your bank account.

DoorDash ads say you can make up to $25/hr. But that appears to be more likely in higher-paying areas like San Francisco, and whether you’re delivering during peak times. (The average pay seems to be around $12/hr.) It will also depend on how well your customers tip, and that depends, too, on where you’re delivering and who’s buying. For a rough idea on tip rates by state (including DC), see this study. (HI and DC are the worst, MS, IA, KY, AK, IN, DE, WV, AZ, ID the best.)


As with all delivery jobs, you’ll also need to subtract gas and car maintenance from your pay. DoorDash provides insurance to Drivers (for damage to other vehicles and third-party personal injuries), which is unusual. As with other delivery companies, you’ll be an independent contractor (no taxes withheld) rather than an employee.

— be at least 18

— have a clean driving record
